Hi, I'm Kevin - thanks for visiting my site!

I got into photography as a teenager in the late 1980's, and yes that is a long time ago. I've done a lot since then, but photography has always been a part of me. I have done portraits, events, family shoots, and some commercial product photography. But the genre that has always drawn me in and engages me is landscape. My work usually focuses on smaller details, or "vignettes" that I find in the landscape as opposed to grand vistas, and I am often attracted to evidence of human interaction with the environment, such as things left behind, long since forgotten. I embrace the beauty around me in whatever way I imagine conveys the feeling the scene invokes, which is what I try to communicate to the viewer through my work.
